To ensure structural integrity and prevent accidents related to large equipment frames, several safety measures have been implemented. These include equipping powered mobile equipment and lift trucks with rollover protective structures (ROPS) meeting specific safety standards CSA standard B352.0, B352.1, and B352.2 or certification by an engineer or manufacturer and falling object protective structure (FOPS) installed, tested, and maintained in accordance with SAE J231 "Minimum Performance Criteria for Falling Object Protective Structures (FOPS)" standards.
