1. Scope
This Safe Work Procedure (SWP) outlines the guidelines and safety measures to be followed during the erection, use, and dismantling of scaffolding. It applies to all personnel involved in these activities to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
2. Definitions
Competent Person: An individual who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.

5. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Fall protection harness - Prevents falls from height when working on scaffolding.
