Hazcom training
A safety training program for hazard communication (HazCom) compliance should cover chemical handling and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) interpretation. Employers must develop, implement, and maintain a written hazard communication program at each workplace. The program should describe how labels, other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training criteria will be met. The program should include a list of hazardous chemicals present using a product identifier referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet, and methods to inform employees of hazards of non-routine tasks and hazards associated with chemicals in unlabeled pipes.
